Clinical History
Chronic cough, 6 weeks. Ex-smoker, 20 pack-years.
Technique
Axial CT images of the chest were acquired without intravenous contrast.
Comparison
CT Chest dated 2025-11-02.
Findings
Lungs: Patchy peribronchial consolidation in the right lower lobe, unchanged from prior. No new nodule or mass. Pleura: No effusion or pneumothorax. Mediastinum: No lymphadenopathy. Bones: No acute osseous abnormality.
Impression
1. Stable right lower lobe consolidation, likely post-infective — correlate clinically. 2. No evidence of malignancy.
Recommendations
Follow-up low-dose CT in 3 months if cough persists.
